Exchange Student Housing Near Sogang University

Sogang is one of the universities we consistently see among KCH applicants — a steady stream of students head there for exchange each semester.

Sogang was founded in 1960 by the Jesuits and is Korea's only Jesuit university. It's also one of the smaller, more compact campuses in Seoul — the whole campus fits within a few blocks in Sinsu-dong, Mapo-gu, the same district as several KCH houses.

Sogang University's campus is at 35 Baekbeom-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul 04107, South Korea. All of KCH's currently active houses are in Seoul's Mapo-gu and Seodaemun-gu districts — the same general area as Sogang. Most KCH stays run 4–5 months — matching a typical exchange semester — with a smaller group staying around 10 months for a full-year exchange. Move-ins are heavily concentrated around Korean semester starts: August and February — by far the two busiest months of the year. Apply as early as you can once your exchange placement is confirmed — rooms near the start of each semester go fast.
