Ewha was founded in 1886 and is a women's university — one of the largest women's universities in the world, with roughly 20,000 students. Most KCH stays run 4–5 months — matching a typical exchange semester — with a smaller group staying around 10 months for a full-year exchange. Move-ins are heavily concentrated around Korean semester starts: August and February — by far the two busiest months of the year. Apply as early as you can once your exchange placement is confirmed — rooms near the start of each semester go fast.
