Deciding on housing from abroad, sight unseen, is hard — you're sending real money to someone you've never met, based on a website. Here are the actual, unedited comments past tenants left publicly on KCH's Facebook page, each one posted there as a "recommends Kim's Community House" endorsement rather than a private message to us.

We haven't corrected the typos, the casual phrasing ("kch" and "seoul" in lowercase, "planing" instead of "planning"), or the number of exclamation marks. Cleaning a review up makes it read less like something a real person actually typed, and on a page whose whole point is proving these are real, that trade isn't worth it.
Real dates, including old ones
Several of these go back to 2018 and 2019, and we're showing the real dates instead of hiding them. KCH has been running co-living houses in Seoul for close to a decade, so a review from a few years ago isn't a sign the community stopped being active — tenants recommending KCH across many different years is closer to a track record than a handful of reviews from this month alone would be.
I've been with kch for a year now. It's definitely the best community you can have in korea. Kim is a very supportive and friendly host, a super chill dude. He plans a lot of activities and trips, and you can get special discount as a kch member. Pretty good deal. If you're looking for something awesome to experience in seoul, KCH is the place where you can have it. yup, highly recommend this amazing community!
I have been living in House 2 for a semester and I totally recommend it. It has been the best opportunity to get to know the heart of Seoul, meet Kim, who is very very friendly and takes care whenever need it, and also to make a lot of international friends. The location of the houses is also something to stand out! If you are planing to go to study to Seoul don't hesitate on checking KCH! Amazing community!

Had a banging year living in KCH, it's pretty much the only place in Seoul where you can have a decent living room for affordable rent. Kim is very accommodating and I moved in to a community of amazing people, I highly recommend checking out KCH if you're moving to Seoul!
Kim's Community House is the best opportunity you'll ever have to experience the incredible atmosphere of Seoul! All the houses offered are perfectly located in vibrant and hip Hongdae and offer the possibility to meet diverse and friendly people from all parts of the world! I was in the shared room in House 1 and had the best time, Kim's welcome was warm and friendly, he was always offering a helping hand. As the name states, Kim's housing really does form the strongest and most endearing of communities, making memories that you'll hold on to forever.
The best place to live during your stay in Seoul, to hang out and meet new friends! The place is great, the flat is great (even the shared rooms are really spacious), and Dongryeong is awesome!

Kim's community offers good-location, worry-free housing for exchange students in Seoul. Living there has been a great experience, which was improved by the organization of various trips, activities, and parties, which all helped to better know South Korea and the student life.
